Goliath Safari Camp
Mana Pools National Park, Zimbabwe
Six Meru-style tents, classic safari décor and amenities, no WiFi or phone signal, no set routines, and some of the best walking safaris in Zimbabwe – Goliath Safari Camp evokes the wild sense of getting back to nature and truly offers a traditional safari experience.
Nested in Mana Pools National Park, the canvas tents and rustic décor beautifully blend with the unspoilt surroundings. All of the tents have two twin beds, with bright and colourful African-style décor and the basic amenities needed for a safari.
The open-air dining area and campfire are very welcoming, offering wonderful star-lit dinners and the perfect place to chat and drink with other travellers. The main camp consists of a covered lounge and bar, but we also love taking a picnic out to the bush. With no set itineraries or game drive times, your day is to your liking, creating a brilliant bespoke experience.
The founder of the camp, Stretch Ferreira, is one of Africa’s most renowned and experienced guides, so you definitely won’t want to miss embarking on a walking safari with the man himself. His close relationship with individual animals means that you’ll get an experience you’ll struggle to find anywhere else, getting you right up close to incredible creatures and creating moments you’ll never forget.
