After a busy safari trip, there’s simply nothing better than relaxing and rejuvenating at a beachside health and fitness retreat. Nestled on the secluded Kenyan south coast, we love that The Ocean Spa Lodge adds a healthy kick to a beach oasis.
Located on a virtually undiscovered beach, privacy is rife at this beautiful hotel. All of the 14 suites add a touch of rustic luxury, with rural thatched roofs and lovely pastel furnishings. There are six villas altogether, each with two suites all featuring a bedroom, bathroom, lounge, garden and veranda.
It’s incredibly easy to relax here, especially whilst tucking into fresh, locally sourced cuisine, or leisurely swimming in the large infinity pool. Our favourite way to truly reenergise is in the Sarunity Wellbeing Space, focused on relaxing the mind, body and soul. With three programmes – Maris, to detoxify, Vita, to energise, and Equilibra, to restore peace - you’ll be sure to feel revitalised after a stay here. There’s great snorkelling nearby too, for those who fancy leaving the sunbed.
