Laikipia Conservancy Areas, Kenya
Adding a touch of luxury and style to a traditional safari bush camp, Sweetwaters Tented Camp is one of our more exclusive properties. Nestled in the private Ol Pejeta Conservancy and overlooking a wildlife abundant waterhole, this luxury camp offers plenty of extra special touches.
Take for instance the Waterhole Bar. Built in the style of a waterhole, and overlooking one itself, this kooky area shows how Sweetwaters adds a hint of style and uniqueness to a typical safari camp. We love lazing by the log fire in Kashoggi Bar and Lounge, and the Rhino Restaurant is full of heritage and delicious gourmet food. Socialising is this camp’s forte, proving plenty of spots to swap safari anecdotes with new found friends.
If you fancy a bit of privacy, all of the tents offer a secluded spot to marvel at Kenya’s sweeping plains. There are 39 private standard tents, all with authentic African décor, whilst the new 17 tents in the Morani Wing offer a bit of extra grandeur.
With a higher wildlife-to-area ratio that any other Kenyan national park, Sweetwaters’ surroundings offer some of the best wildlife spotting opportunities we’ve ever come across. From magnificent rhino and elephant, to colourful flocks of birdlife, you’ll be sure to fully immerse yourself in the African wilderness here.
