Unfenced and unmarked borders blend Motswari into Timbavati Private Game Reserve and Kruger National Park, so you’ll enjoy all the fabulous animal encounters that these famous destinations are known for. But this is a private reserve with just one lodge. At any one time, there’s a maximum of 30 guests in the whole of Mostwari. Intimacy is heightened and after a few days you’ll really feel at home on the savannah.
Opening all your senses
We’d recommend at least three nights as the landscape is packed with both the big five and smaller, lesser-known animals. Game drives explore in the cool early-morning and late-afternoon hours, perfect times for encountering the big cats on the prowl. There are also great options for bush walks and we get really excited about the unique overnight walking safari. These activities heighten your senses to all the clues and compelling details, revealing a world that becomes more and more expressive with every day on safari.
