Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe
Perched in the beautiful Linkwasha Concession in Hwange National Park, Linkwasha Camp offers a contemporary retreat wonderfully immersed with authentic African safari charm. With huge tents, modern mess areas and brilliant activities on offer, Linkwasha Camp really does have each guest in mind.
There are eight classic tents and one family tent altogether, all connected to the main lodge by wooden walkways. The tents are incredibly spacious, featuring a bright and airy design with their large glass sliding doors looking out onto the plains. The modern amenities of a private veranda, a cosy four-poster bed and a minimalist lounge area are fused with more classic designs, including canvas walls and ceilings, and a blend of khaki and neutral hues.
The main mess area consists of canvas tents home to a comfortable and inviting lounge area with a library, and a lovely sociable dining area. Outdoors, the multi-level deck features a gorgeous pool overlooking a wildlife abundant waterhole, plus small tables perfect for a romantic meal under the stars and a toasty fire pit for swapping exciting stories with other guests.
There are plenty of ways to discover the impressive wildlife that roams this unspoilt concession all year round, including fantastic night drives and walking safaris, and there’s even the chance to visit a local village to learn more about the local’s culture.
