Perched so close to the Victoria Falls that you can see the spray rising in the distance, Victoria Falls River Lodge is one of our best lodges for exploring the cascading falls. If that doesn’t entice you, perhaps the contemporary décor and wonderful viewing decks will.
There are 13 tents altogether, all raised on wooden decks and offering a spacious, airy space to relax. All of the tents feature a cosy sitting area and a private deck with a plunge pool, perfect for taking a dip in the morning and watching hippos graze by the river bank. There are eight luxury tents and five family suite tents with two bedrooms.
After an exhilarating trip to the falls, how about sipping on an ice cold drink in the riverside bar? The spa treatments are incredibly relaxing too, and we love the large swimming pool that overlooks the endless plains. In the afternoon, join one of the fantastic guides and nestle into a tree hide to watch animals roam by the waterhole, before ending the evening under the stars at the bonfire area.
