Southern Namibia, Namibia

Situated 7kms from the main site, with a mountain backdrop and an endless desert-sand foreground, the ‘vast space’ that Namibia is named after is captured by these chalets’ unique and remote location.

We love that after a stay here you will leave feeling relaxed and recharged. The self-catering chalets at Klein-Aus Vista are the closest you will get to being at one with nature.

Built into the granite boulders scattered across Namibia’s rugged landscape, the Eagle's Nest Chalets are hardly even noticeable as they blend seamlessly with the environment, allowing you to feel completely immersed in the Namibian wilderness.

Rustic in design, these chalets are formed of stone, wood and bamboo, emanating that true African feel - not that you will pay too much attention to the inside when the outside scenery is that of breath-taking, boundless horizons. Each chalet has a shaded terrace with seating, along with a barbeque so you can dine alfresco. Alternatively, as self-catered chalets, each one is fitted with a fully-functional kitchen so you can cook your own culinary creations. Or, if you fancy the evening off, head down to the main site where the Desert Horse Inn restaurant will welcome you to a lively night of delicious food.

As one of the most sparsely populated locations in the world, these private chalets in the heart of Namibia will make you feel like you have discovered your very own untouched landscapes. To help you explore the best of the gloriously expansive surroundings, the team at Klein-Aus Vista offer self-guided hiking and biking trails, along with guided desert tours or sunset drives.
