Ongava Lodge

Etosha, Namibia

Nestled on a picturesque hill overlooking a well-frequented waterhole and the plains beyond, Ongava Lodge is located in the private 30,000-hectare Ongava Game Reserve – home to rare black and white rhinos. This is one of our premier lodges, offering luxury and style in close proximity to Etosha National Park.

There’s a total of fourteen luxury chalets scattered along the hillside, positioned to showcase stunning panoramas over the camp’s waterhole. Each chalet features a sumptuous private en-suite bathroom with an indoor and outdoor rainshower, as well as a large, private terrace with loungers and a great selection of amenities to make your stay comfortable, including air-conditioning, ceiling fans and a plush seating area.

The main thatched lodge houses comfortable lounging and dining areas, offering stunning waterhole views to enjoy your delicious, locally-inspired fare. Meanwhile, the inviting outdoor pool is a lovely spot to cool off, lounge and delight in breath-taking views over the reserve and waterhole. There’s a wonderful variety of activities to enjoy during your stay here, including game drives into Etosha, spending time in the Camp Hide, observing the resident wildlife, and taking serene nature drives and walks on the Ongava Reserve.

For those in search of a more affordable but equally as phenomenal experience in the Ongava Reserve, we think the Ongava Tented Camp is a great choice, offering comfortable en-suite Meru-style tents and a main lodge area which fronts the waterhole, as well as a shared swimming pool, dining area, lounge and bar.
