Mushara Outpost

Etosha, Namibia

Mushara Outpost is situated just 10 kilometres from Namibia’s world-famous Etosha National Park, and is a proud member of Mushara’s exquisite selection of accommodation. Drawing a focus on old-fashioned hospitality with warm, friendly and personalised service, the lodge’s main house is styled like an old farmhouse with high walls, a corrugated iron roof and an airy wrap-around, shaded veranda.

The outpost accommodates up to sixteen guests within luxurious tent-style structures, which are perched on stilts over the banks of an ancient riverbed. We think this accommodation is ideal for couples in particular, featuring an open-plan en-suite bathroom with a glass rainshower, four-poster king beds and a private, furnished veranda boasting breath-taking views over the bush.

You’ll enjoy wonderful daily breakfasts, lunches and dinners in the main lodge’s beautiful dining room, or with magnificent wilderness views on the shared dining and lounging areas. The menu changes daily, highlighting locally-inspired cuisine with fresh and flavourful ingredients. In-between phenomenal game drives and sumptuous dining, the outpost’s pool is a beautiful spot to cool down and soak up the spectacular wildlife that keeps the surrounding gardens manicured. The camp’s spacious and comfortable game vehicles are designed for any weather condition, and showcase magnificent 360-degree views from elevated seats.

If you’re looking for a more family-friendly tented camp experience, we would recommend taking a look at the Mushara Bush Camp, featuring an abundance of child friendly amenities such as a jungle gym and supervised play areas, in addition to tailored menus and meal times to suit family needs.
