This is one of our favourite lodges in the Okavango Delta, and for good reason. From the out-of-the-ordinary architecture, to some of the best wildlife viewing in Africa, andBeyond Sandibe Okavango Safari Lodge will certainly take your breath away.
There are 12 suites altogether, all looking out onto the never ending floodplains through the floor-to-ceiling glass doors. This is the only Botswana lodge to have private fireplaces, which adds a cosy vibe. The outdoor veranda is beautiful too, with a small dining area and steps leading down to an indulgent private plunge pool.
Made out of single pieces of arched wood, the lounge area is truly spectacular. Designed to look similar to a pangolin from above, the domed lounge has a cosy semi-circle of sofas that face a toasty fire pit and look out onto the plains.
Hidden amidst towering fig trees and wild palms, this luxury lodge is clearly inspired by the unspoilt wilderness that surrounds it – and with amazing big cats, wild dogs and birds roaming the scenes, there’s no doubt you’ll have a safari experience to remember.
