Okavango Delta, Botswana
Bookable on an exclusive-use basis, this luxury lodge has two private villas that are ideal for families or small groups. With a private pool and exceptional service, the suites offer the ultimate in safari exclusivity. And they’re situated in one of Africa’s most prolific wildlife areas.
The Zarafa Dhow Suites are part of the Zarafa Camp, but operate completely separately. Each villa has a private guide, chef, and staff, so everything can be individually tailored to your group’s needs. You’ll enjoy the same quality as the outstanding Zarafa Camp, just with an added layer of flexibility and privacy. Each suite comfortably accommodates four and the two can be booked together for larger groups
Safari activities are legendary here and you’ll be creating a tailored program of game drives, walking safaris, and boat cruises on the Zibadianja Lagoon. As it’s a private concession you can drive at any time of the day or night. We love how the most adventurous groups have their wishes satisfied, while those who wish to lounge around still get to enjoy an indulgent luxury lodge.
The Zarafa Dhow Suites’ unique offer means it’s amongst the priciest of Botswana’s options. However, we think that it’s one of the best options in Africa for groups and families.
These suites are ideal for families but note that there is a minimum age of six. Childminding can be arranged as those under 12 can’t participate in all the activities.
