It’s a bit harder work to get here than some of the other options available for your Uganda Gorilla Trekking experience, but you will be glad you did when you get here with the tranquil luxurious setting and first class service. There is also a unique way to arrive too. If you are staying in the main Buhoma area first, there is a trekking route that will get you arriving by foot within 3-4 hours.
The seven cottages are built of volcanic stone and are very spacious and luxuriously furnished and include their own fireplace for the colder nights. All have a comfortable separate seating area and a large modern bathroom. A small terrace area gives privacy for relaxing after a hard days trekking.
The main guest area has beautiful high beamed ceilings and has the feeling of home with large squishy sofas and a fireplace.
Gorilla Trekking commences close by and there are several families within an hour or two.
Note: Gorilla Permits are extra from $450-650 per trek depending on time of year which will be secured at the time of booking as they are limited
