Kyaninga Lodge
Kibale National Park, Uganda
Primate lodge is located in the most perfect spot for chimp trekking in Kibale, just 2 minutes walk from the chimp trekking station.
The main lodge dominates the skyline and houses the restaurant and bar. The structure is incredibly interesting and hides away a few secret places to find your own space to disappear in a book or a more intimate moment running through the excitement of your adventures in Uganda so far.
In front of the lodge is a large deck where you can relax or take meals. This deck and the small pool look down into the impressive crater lake with its stunning colours reflecting in the water.
The rooms stretch away from lodge on a long walk way. There are plenty of steps and we mean plenty so this is not for those who are not at full fitness. These cottages are exceptionally spacious with large double or twin beds. Furniture is relatively simple but elegant. Balconies look over the lake so are a stunning spot to relax in private.
The lodge is 45 minutes north of Kibale so you will need an early start for a chimp trek, but its very much worth the early wake up call to appreciate this superior lodge.
Note: Chimp Permits are extra from $150-200 per trek depending on time of year which will be secured at the time of booking as they are limited.
You must be 14 to trek.
