Mweya Safari Lodge

Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda

This is one of the larger lodges we feature in Uganda, but don’t be put off by this as it is in a fantastic spot ideal for a boat trip on the Kazinga Channel.

Connecting Lake George and Lake Edward, this boat trip is our most highly recommended thing to do in the northern section of the Queen Elizabeth National Park thanks to its abundance in magnificent hippo and elephant.

This property feels more like a hotel in a safari setting than a lodge. The main building houses a large dining room and bar area. We love the pool area with its deck and beautiful views of the channel.

As well as standard and deluxe rooms, there is also a variety of tents and suites. For those on a one night stay we would recommend a deluxe room with a balcony or terrace where you can sit and relax after a long day's safari.
