Kimondo Migration Camp
Serengeti National Park, Tanzania
Following the annual wildebeest migration in Serengeti National Park, Kimondo Migration Camp offers a luxurious take on eco mobile camping. Moving between the north and the south of the park, we love that this camp offers incredible views of the migration no matter the time of year.
Despite being a mobile camp, Kimondo’s eight tents offer a homely spot to relax and watch wildlife in between embarking on fascinating game drives. Each tent features a double bed, country-style décor, a bathroom, and a large terrace overlooking the sweeping plains, the tarpaulin floors decorated with patterned rugs.
We love the cosy mess tent at this charming camp too. Split into two, meal times will be spent tucking into delicious food in the pretty dining area, with a rustic al fresco area nestled amongst the trees, whilst the lounge is beautifully decorated to make it feel like a home away from home.
You’ll feel completely immersed in the authentic African lifestyle at this characterful unfenced camp, and the friendly staff will truly make you feel as ease as you delve into the camp’s wonderful game drives.
Serengeti migration viewing is year round.
