Serengeti Migration Camp

Serengeti National Park, Tanzania

Sitting along the winding Grumeti River banks in northern Serengeti, the luxurious Elewana Serengeti Migration Camp offers phenomenal views of the annual migration. With beautiful sunset views, lavish lounge areas and opulent tents, we love how indulgent this camp feels.

There are 20 tents in total, all nestled on elevated wooden platforms and offering a charming vibe. The hardwood floors and lockable glass doors make the tents feel luxurious, yet the canvas walls and cosy African-style décor gives you that desirable back-to-nature ambience. All of the tents have an en-suite bathroom, lovely leather furniture, and a wraparound veranda.

The main areas are just as spectacular. We love the expansive decking, home to a rustic swimming pool, woven chairs, and one of our favourite views of the sunset in the world. Adorned with lanterns and overlooking the forest-clad terrain, the lounge and dining areas are very romantic.

Elewana Serengeti Migration Camp’s location is certainly one of its focal points. You won’t want to miss a walking safari along the Grumeti River, and daily game drives offer wonderful views of lion. The camp even has private road access to the Mara River migration crossings, meaning you’re only an hour away from one of the best seats to the Serengeti migration.

The Serengeti migration is best seen April to June, and October to December.
