Lemala Nanyukie, Serengeti

Serengeti National Park, Tanzania

The Serengeti translates to mean ‘endless plains’ and that is what you will find surrounding the 15 luxury tents at the spectacular Lemala Nanyukie. Raised off the floor and sheltered by tented ceilings and canvas walls, these charming abodes are designed to allow you to feel immersed in nature whilst pampered in sumptuous comfort.

Lemala Nanyukie boasts 14 secluded suites with Super King beds for optimal indulgence, fit with sweeping canopies making you feel like royalty. If travelling with the family, there is also the option of a spacious two-bedroom family suite. Far from the typical idea of a tent, these lodges showcase a delightfully rustic lounge area, along with an elegantly designed bathroom, featuring a free-standing bath and walk-in shower. We love the floor-to-ceiling windows which mean you never have to tear your eyes away from the stunning Serengeti views. Step out onto your own private decked veranda and either relax on the sunken seating, or take a refreshing dip in your private plunge pool.

At Lemala Nanyukie, more than anything else you will feel a real connection to nature and wilderness, with every aspect designed to optimise on the phenomenal views and wildlife residing on your doorstep. All year round the Serengeti is a top spot for spying lions, leopards, elephants and hippos, whilst April to June and November to January sees the breath-taking wildebeest migration.

We know you will love the open-plan lounge and bar that offers an assortment of differing indoor and outdoor seating options to suit everyone’s dining preferences. For something a little more intimate, you can also venture further into the sweeping savanna to enjoy bush-breakfasts and lantern-lit dinners.
For the best safari experience whilst at Lemala Nanyukie, we recommend taking a guided game drive or walk. Or, for an even more extraordinary experience, marvel at the awe-inspiring Serengeti landscapes on a balloon safari.
