Lemala Ndutu Mobile Tented Camp
Serengeti National Park, Tanzania
Lemala Ndutu Mobile Tented Camp offers a luxurious take on eco camping. Nestled in the south of Serengeti National Park between December and March, this camp offers a front row seat to the annual wildebeest migration – making it one of our favourites for viewing this wonderful phenomenon.
Although a mobile camp, Lemala Ndutu provides plenty of lavish amenities, including 12 charming tents fit with double beds, rustic décor, and wooden flooring. The large public areas are well-appointed too, offering a casual area to relax and take in the incredible views.
This camp is the perfect spot to discover amazing animals as they migrate to the south. Keeping their camps away from the busy tourist areas, Lemala offers uninterrupted views of the surrounding wildlife, and you won’t see another tourist vehicle in sight. The south of Serengeti tends to be fairly dusty too, but Lemala Ndutu will keep you away from these areas.
Lemala Ndutu shows that eco camping can be indulgent, and offers unbeatable views of the magnificent annual migration. Once the migration moves from south Serengeti to the north, the camp also moves to become Lemala Mara from July to October.
Serengeti Migration viewing is from December – February.
