Olakira Migration Camp

Serengeti National Park, Tanzania

Olakira Migration Camp offers a front row seat to Serengeti National Park’s incredible wildebeest migration, providing a wonderful mobile camp that follows this spectacular journey as it moves across the park.

Olakira’s tents and public areas offer a cosy yet luxurious place to watch wildlife roam and take in the impressive views. The nine tents all feature double beds and contemporary African inspired décor, the tarpaulin floors decorated with woven rugs, and the spacious terrace offering a daybed and seating area. There is also one family tent with two bedrooms.

In between fascinating game drives, we love relaxing in the large mess area. Split into two, the long dining tables offer panoramic views of the Serengeti plains, whilst the cosy lounge offers country-style furniture and plenty of books to read.

The unfenced camp truly delves you into an authentic African experience; and the friendly staff will make you feel at home as you witness the amazing wildlife passing by your tent.

Migration viewing is year round.
