Lemala Ewanjan
Serengeti National Park, Tanzania
Lemala Ewanjan is high on our list of favourite camps in Serengeti National Park. Centrally located in the park and hidden away from the usual tourist hotspots, the ambience here is intimate and exclusive, with far fewer visitors in the area.
There’s something so fantastic about looking at the pretty pictures that adorn the public areas knowing they were created through a community project, or using the recycled glasses and knowing you’re helping make a low impact on the beautiful environment.
The 12 spacious tents come with two double beds, wooden floors, and rustic yet well-appointed décor. The morning and night game drives allow you to see all of the amazing wildlife Serengeti National Park has to offer at a pace you desire. We highly recommend taking a picnic with you too – there’s really nothing better than spending the whole day exploring the park’s wide open landscapes, so why not enjoy an al fresco lunch too.
Serengeti Migration viewing is from November – January, and April – June.
Open all year round, children over the age of six are welcome.
