Nambiti Hills Game Lodge

Nambiti Private Game Reserve, South Africa

As you pull up Nambiti Hills Game Lodge you’ll be sure to fall in love. Modern and luxurious, this is one of our best high-end lodges in South Africa, its classy décor tying in well with the rugged landscapes of Nambiti Private Game Reserve in Kwazulu Natal.

There are eight luxury suites and one honeymoon suite, all with thatched roofs and a charming terrace that overlooks the endless plains. The luxury suites are spacious and minimalist, with a four poster bed, an open-plan lounge area and a rural bathroom, whilst the luxurious honeymoon suite offers a separate cosy living room and an expansive, secluded veranda.

The main house instantly makes us think of a converted country-style barn, creating an opulent yet rustic feel. Inside, the lounge offers a stylish take on authentic African décor, with neutral tones and comfortable furnishings, whilst the homely restaurant is a fantastic space for tucking in to gourmet meals. We love the outdoor lounge area – with panoramic views and toasty fire pits, this is the perfect spot to socialise under the stars.

The game drives are incredible here too – you’ll be sure to spot the Big Five grazing in the plains as you embark on breath-taking safaris, then afterwards you can head back to the lodge and cool down in the beautiful pool, which is built into the rocks and offers spectacular views.
