Simbambili Lodge
Kruger National Park, South Africa
Venture through the verdant jackalberry and knobthorn trees that adorn the Manyeleti River in Sabi Sand Game Reserve and you’ll find Simbambili Lodge, a wonderful retreat famous for its incredible leopard sightings.
With only nine suites altogether, you’ll enjoy a truly personalised experience whilst exploring the Sabi Sand’s unspoilt landscapes. With bright white décor and a billowy four poster bed, the suites feel airy, spacious and utterly romantic, with a few colourful hints of green and brown to add a bit of African charm. You’ll be sure to feel indulgent whilst staying in your private suite – we love the large wooden deck boasting a daybed and private plunge pool.
The al fresco dining area is wonderful, with seats and tables curved around a toasty fire pit, perfect for romantic dinners under the stars. The main lounge adopts a modern rustic vibe too; nothing feels better than sinking into a comfy sofa after a long morning of game drives.
Sabi Sands is well known for its high concentration of big cats, and so you’ll have ample opportunities to see these beautiful creatures stalking through the plains. After spotting elegant leopard and lion, how about heading to the rejuvenating Africology spa?
