Twelve Apostles Hotel & Spa

Cape Town, South Africa

With the jaw-dropping Table Mountain National Park and dramatic Twelve Apostles mountain range as its backdrop, the award winning Twelve Apostles Hotel & Spa is simply stunning. With incredible vistas of mountain and ocean views, sumptuous dining areas and lavishly decorated rooms and suites, a stay here will be nothing short of elegant and sophisticated.

There are 70 rooms altogether, consisting of 55 rooms and 15 suites. They all adopt a light, airy and tranquil feel, with wonderful views and contemporary African interiors. The Classic Rooms feature the standard amenities including a full balcony, whilst the Mountain Facing Rooms feature quirky décor and amazing views of Table Mountain.

The Luxury Rooms are open-plan, with views of the soaring Table Mountain, and the Superior Sea Facing Room’s sunken living areas are perfect for relaxing and listening to the waves. The One Bedroom Suites are perfect for couples with their secluded location, romantic décor and private garden patio, whilst the Mountain Facing and Sea Facing Suites are ideal for families of four.

The ultimate indulgence comes with the Presidential Suite, adorned with glistening chandeliers and antique mirrors and artwork on the walls. We love the his and hers bathrooms, and the large eight-seater dining room featuring a bar and lounge area. You’ll even have your own personal butler, and the suite can be extended into a luxury sea facing two-bedroom suite for parties of four.

Hoping to bring a large party? The Grand Master Suite offers five rooms and suites on its own private floor on the upper level of the hotel, sleeping up to ten guests.

With such naturally beautiful landscapes just outside your doorstep, it’ll come as no surprise that there is a plethora of exciting activities on offer here. From a calming afternoon at the spa and enjoying a film in the private cinema, to kicking the adrenaline up a notch with hiking, whale watching, ziplining and stand-up paddle boarding, there’ll be no chance of boredom here. The infinity and rock pools here are beautiful, framed with comfy sun loungers ready to keep you relaxed in the sunshine.

After days of excitement or simply lapping up the sun, the food options here are fantastic. The Azure Restaurant is perfect for an idyllic evening of fine dining, offering local and international cuisine served with panoramic views and a beautiful terrace, whilst the Café Grill is a more relaxed eatery and serving up a myriad of delicious options 24 hours a day. From Monday to Saturday The Leopard Bar offers a trendy spot to sip on tasty cocktails, chat about your day, and whale watch from the terrace – you could even enjoy a peaceful ‘tea by the sea’, a delicious afternoon tea with the best views of the ocean.
