The Robertson Small Hotel

Western Cape, South Africa

This is a hidden gem in the heart of the quaint town of Robertson, located in the Western Cape. Elegant interiors, sophisticated service and an idyllic location makes this one of our favourite retreats in this part of South Africa.

With just 10 suites, each with their own character and varying colours and tones, this luxurious 5 star country retreat oozes chic sophistication and old world charm. Whether you choose to stay in the 1909 built Manor House, the Poolside Suite with direct access to the hotel’s pool or the Stable Suites which overlook a second pool, the little touches found here such as a free mini-bar in your room, cupcakes on your pillow and underfloor heating will ensure that your stay will be one which will be etched in your memory for years to come.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner is taken in the Small Restaurant with a choice of seating inside where you can enjoy the bold art and tapestry weave which adorn the white washed walls, or out on the patio with splendid views of the hotel’s garden. Local ingredients from the finest producers are included in the simple but sophisticated menus.

If craft liquor and whisky or cocktails are your thing, you will love the Em Bar where you will find syrups and cordials made on site. A wonderful place to relax before retiring to the comfort of your luxurious room.

If you want to spend some time recharging your batteries and enjoying a luxurious pampering experience, then there are plenty of therapeutic skincare and body treatments available at the Wellness Room, located conveniently adjacent to the pool.
