Kenya's Iconic National Parks

This safari is perfect for both first timers and experienced safari adventurers. We would tailor the trips slightly depending on it being your first time or as a repeat guest depending what you want to see the most and where you have travelled before.

With eight intense days of safaris and flying in between parks, we will pack in your time in the bush to make sure you get all the sightings you possibly could imagine whilst exploring the beautiful National Parks of Amboseli, Samburu and Masai Mara.

Nairobi National Park

A great way to start, skip the city hotel and head straight for the closest National Park right on the doorstep of the airport.  Just 20 minutes after your driver picks you up at the airport you will be in the National Park with a chance of your first wildlife sightings.  Be sure to have your camera in your hand luggage so it's at the ready.

For your second and only full day here, the choice will be yours on your wildlife experience.  We recommend an early start with a game drive and back for a mid morning breakfast and then out again after lunch.  Some guests prefer a leisurely start and a fuller day in the park with a pack lunch.

Overnight at Nairobi Tented Camp for two nights - Full Board

Amboseli National Park

After an early breakfast, head to the nearby domestic airport for your short flight to Amboseli.  Your transfer to camp is also a safari drive as you are within the conservancy or National Park depending on your final accommodation choice.

During your stay you will be able to experience morning and evening game drives including night drives. You can take guided walks and also visit the local villages who support the camp and the wildlife conservancy area.  You also will have the flexibility of full days in the National Park with a picnic lunch if you want to maximise your wildlife viewing.

Overnight at Porini Amboseli Camp for two nights - Full Board

Samburu National Park

After another early breakfast, head back to the air strip for your flight to Samburu, with a stop off in Wilson, Nairobi on route. Even with this its still only a couple of hours flying time.

You will be met and transferred to camp.

You will be treated to both morning and evening game drives in this magnificent park and being in the north of the country, you will be able to spot several different species from those you were viewing in Nairobi and Amboseli.

Overnight at Samburu Intrepids for two nights - Full Board

Masai Mara National Park

Yet another early breakfast – you will be used to this by now, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your short hop of around an hour and a half to the Mara.  You will be met by your driver/guide and taken to your accommodation for lunch and check in.

You will receive both morning and afternoon game drives as well as the option of walking trips.  In between you can relax on the deck or by the pool enjoying the magnificent vistas.

Overnight at Ol Seki Hemmingways for three nights - Full Board

On your final morning, you can grab one last safari experience before you board your flight onwards.  If you are just here for safari we will send you back to Nairobi for your journey home.  If you want some beach style relaxation, there are direct flights down to the coast where we would have you on the beach by lunch time.  We highly recommend this option with four to six nights relaxation on the coast to wind down and reflect on the wonderful journey at the start of your holiday
