Spirit of the Masai Mara

Masai Mara Game Reserve, Kenya

The opulent air-conditioned suites of this boutique lodge provide a contemporary contrast to the rest of the Masai Mara’s accommodation. Everything here is designed around comfort and lavish living, which will suit those who want to discover all the wonders of the famous grasslands, yet prefer a more hotel-style experience.

The ten air-conditioned suites have floor-to-ceiling glass windows and are carefully spaced in the private Siana Conservancy, adjacent to the Masai Mara National Reserve. Game drives will explore both unfenced areas so you can explore in depth, then return to a bubble bath before sipping sundowners in your private lounge. Nature walks can also be arranged and the lodge is in a good position for a balloon safari.

Wildlife experiences focus on the famous Masai Mara scenes and are likely to feature lots of big cats and four-legged giants. Rather than a wilderness experience, Spirit of the Masai Mara provides a sightseeing journey into one of the world’s most evocative natural landscapes. This style isn’t for everyone, but it will be perfect for some.

Lounge around the swimming pool, join Masai warriors on the plains, and watch wildebeest rumble past while sipping champagne. This lodge is pure indulgence in the Masai Mara, complete with famous Kenyan hospitality.

Spirit of the Masai Mara has a very adult feel but might be suitable for families with older children.
